"the spark" Mentorship Program

What is "The Spark"

The SKSF's 2026 year-long mentorship experience connecting youth, early-career professionals, and seasoned leaders across science, service, wellness, innovation, and the arts. 

"The Spark" Mission

To connect emerging leaders, innovators, and creatives with experienced changemakers across disciplines to cultivate personal growth, community impact, and bold solutions to real-world challenges.

Mentees & Mentors

Mentees: High school juniors/seniors, college students, and early-career professionals


Mentors: Established professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, scientists, artists, healthcare leaders, and community organizers passionate about guiding others 

Duration and Format

12 months (January 2026– December 2026)

Hybrid format: Virtual and in-person opportunities

Monthly Theme and Activities  


November- December 2025:  Match Period & Mentor Training  


Jan 2026: Launch & Orientation (kickoff event, goal setting)


Feb 2026: Finding Your Why (purpose mapping, storytelling workshop)


Mar 2026: Dedication & Service (service project planning)


Apr 2026: Innovation in Action ("The SKSF Innovation Lab", mentor panel)


May 2026: Wellness & Whole-Person Growth (mind-body connection, guided reflection)


Jun 2026: Arts & Expression (creative showcase, community storytelling)


Jul 2026: Leadership & Advocacy (public speaking, policy education)


Aug 2026: Mission-Based Outreach (collaborative service project implementation)


Sept 2026: Building a Legacy (financial literacy, impact journaling)


Oct 2026: Global & Cultural Perspectives (cultural exchange) 


Nov 2026: Giving Back (peer mentoring, gratitude campaign)


Dec 2026: Capstone Celebration- THE SKSF "The Spark" Inaugural Graduation! (presentations and awards)

Meet Asha Gandreti

We’re thrilled to introduce Asha as one of our inspiring young leaders and Mentee Ambassadors. Asha brings creativity, compassion, and determination to The SKSF- proving that the next generation is ready to uplift and lead!

 2025 National Beta Scholarship Recipient 

 2025 Coca-Cola Scholar 

She now attends Cornell University as a Freshman in Health Care Policy. 

Meet Kiana Behjatnia

So excited to spotlight Kiana as one of our dynamic young leaders and Mentee Ambassadors. With curiosity, drive, and a spirit of collaboration, Kiana reminds us that the future is brightest when led with heart and purpose!
